Iconic Negrenese social realist painter Nunelucio Alvarado (1950) is regarded as one of the most prominent contemporary artists in the Philippines.  He has won numerous international critical acclaim for his powerful works that mostly portrayed the life and struggles of Negros Occidental’s  the working class.

BMEG Llamados is the 2012 Commissioner's Cup Champion

Late post, I know.  But hey, I've been watching the game for four straight days now, LOL!  There's just too many moments in the Game 7 of the PBA's 2012 Commissioner's Cup worth watching over and over and over and over again.  And yes, I'd be watching again later, ha ha.

I could have wished that the series ended 4-0, 4-1, or 4-2 in favor of the BMEG Llamados.  But they just couldn't.  Game 2 is a sorry loss for them.  I even felt sorry for Denzel Bowles for tweeting "My fault" after the game.  Game 4 is a landslide victory for Talk N' Text Tropang Texters (TNT).  Game 6 gives me the feeling that we can't win the championship.  But come Game 7, I'm all suited up.

I ♥ Basketball

I hardly remember when was the last time I watched PBA.  I'm browsing over my pictures and can't find any photo of me inside the Araneta for the past couple of years.  Seems like after Chris Pacana had been traded by Barangay Ginebra Kings and was not given quality playing minutes in his succeeding teams, I laid aback and become disinterested in basketball.  Hmmm, sort of.  Or most likely, because I've been busy with blogging and running.  Then I went to Singapore for six months, went back home and finally got married to the man I dearly love.

But now, the "I ♥ basketball" thingy is within me again.  First, courtesy of Jeremy Lin.  Second, because BMEG Llamados is now in the finals.  Holla!

Yes, I'm a bit sad right now because they lost earlier in Game 2.  There were just too much wasted opportunities for them to gain the 2-0 advantage.  But then again, winning is a learning process.  Hope they would learn from their mistakes and make it as their weapon come Game 3.

LINsanity Ain’t Over…

Okay, let’s have a background how I become LINsane.

I first heard (Yes, heard. Not watched.) of a new rising NBA star from GMA’s 24-Oras, but just shrugged my shoulders on it. I thought, why would they be including that in the news? As if it is something important. My hubby said that he is Asian, maybe the reason why IT is news.

The next time I heard of him was again from GMA, this time over the radio while Mike Enriquez was interviewing Casimero regarding the uproar of the Argentina fans during his boxing match. Then Enriquez made a comment that he hopes that Casimero would remain humble despite the things that are happening in his life (career) just like Jeremy Lin who stays humble despite the attention being thrown at him. And the catch there was – he (Lin) is just sleeping on his brother’s couch.

I become interested.

Shamcey Supsup in Miss Universe 2011 Q&A Portion

I believe most of the time, the beautiful and talented women of the Miss Universe Top 5's fate depends on their answer to the judge's question. If not, a greater portion of it. It is very evident to the crowned 1969 Miss Universe Gloria Diaz and the 4^th Runner-up 2010 Miss Universe Venus Raj.

This year, the 2011 Miss Universe, our Shamcey Supsup did great in the Q&A portion. I haven't watched the beauty pageant yet, but from what I have read from the comments, a lot were thinking that she deserves the crown than Ms. Angola for she outwitted the other contestants with her answer.
