Reality Wedding Video

Last Sunday, after a jam-packed day (from my 5K Run for the Pasig River, Sunday service, and site visit at Flora Vista), I happen to watch Korina Sanchez-Roxas’ show from ABS-CBN. The night’s topic was all about wedding.

I got mesmerized on couples who have wanted to have their wedding as unique as possible. And still maintain something that really relates to their love story. Like the couple who exchanged vows on a wall while they were suspended on a harness, for they both love wall climbing activity. Surely, the video for wedding like this should be captured in the most outstanding way.

Another intriguing wedding video in the Philippines is when a couple opted to have a Star Wars entourage, with all the costume and metal swords that the movie had. This one, all of the wedding featured at Korina’s show fascinated me in their uniqueness.

A wedding videographer in the Philippines in the being of Buddy Gancenia believed that each and every wedding should be unique for each and every couple. And he accented this statement or belief by covering a wedding much like to that of a reality wedding video. Possibly similar to what had been transpiring in the Survivor Philippines Palau reality show?

Browsing over the site of Reality Wedding Video by Buddy Gancenia, I’ve seen the recommended by the brides section and was overwhelmed by their satisfaction feedbacks.

Love of a Father

I attended a funeral ceremony last Saturday. In the ceremony, reminiscing of the departed's life on earth had been done by letting the loved ones talk in front and share unforgettable experiences with him - as a pastor, a friend, a husband, and a father.

I have to admit that I got teary-eyed as they talk about the departed's life as a father. I can relate to them, for I already lost my father 11 years ago. But the thing that really touched my heart was when the youngest of the children failed to finish his testimony. He just said that the thing that he won't forget about his father was when he accompany him in the darkest days of his life. At first, I thought that he had been a drug addict and that his father accompanied him at the rehabilitation center.

But I was wrong, the darkest days of his life is when he was imprisoned. The fear of being beaten by co-prisoners, he was accompanied by his father. Not allowing anyone to hurt him.

That's the love of a father. We all have our own versions. But it all shows one thing, that the Love of a Father is among the greatest!

Another Manifestation of True Love

Every morning as I prepare myself for work, our TV is on at Unang Hirit of GMA7. I overheard the news about a German Love Story. I fell in love with their story and my heart had been touched. Indeed, TRUE LOVE exists.

They (Elvira Profe and Fortunat Mackiewicz) had been separated by fate for 5 long decades. But they still ended up in each others arms. Isn't it romantic? And I have to quote:

"Love will last until the end of your life, if that love is real," Mackiewicz said during an interview at their home.
This is just one of the MANY manifestations of TRUE LOVE.
